I was thrilled to come across this beautiful dinner plate from H&R Daniel. Made in around 1825, it is nearly 200 years old but looks so fresh and alive. I’ve been told the flower is called convulvulus, and the orange/peach/pink colour (which is it? I keep changing my mind) is a wonderful and daring contrast with the lilac sprigs of juicy grapes, which are beautifully moulded on the rims. In case you feel you have too much on your plate… this plate can take it all. You can find the listing here in my Antiques shop.
