For those who are in autumn – Sadler 1950s

I have been writing a lot about spring, because here in England we get very excited when we see the sun again after 5 or 6 months of grey skies. But many of my faithful readers  in the Southern Hemisphere are just going into the autumn, shaking off the summer heat. This teapot is for you: a beautiful Sadler trellis teapot with a hawthorn bouquet. I love these trellis pots for their nicely embossed surface, fresh decorations and great balance – although a full 2-pint teapot is heavy, these pots pour very easily. You can find the listing here in my Vintage shop.
