These three teacups are very charming… they are daisy wreath painted onto daisy-shape teacups, made by Charles Wileman in 1890. The Daisy shape is one of the most endearing shapes Wileman created, and still very popular. Its amazing charm is in the shape: the saucer echoing the cup, then the side plite echoing the saucer… and then the three cups fit into each other in a perfect geometry! There is no end to the creativity of 19th Century teacups, and this is a great opportunity to add to your collection and have a very special cup of tea (because they are in perfect condition and still good to use!).
